After dating through the end of high school and my first year of college, my amazing husband and I were married on June 27, 2008 at our home church in Louisville, KY. We settled into our first apartment in Mariemont & finished school at CCU. In the fall of 2010, we made our first big move to Dallas, Texas. John Ryman, our little Texan, was born on Christmas Eve 2011. In early summer of 2013, we said goodbye to our first home and many dear friends as we moved, a little closer to family, to Newburgh, IN. It wasn't long after our move that we welcomed our daughter, Vera Michelle, into the world on June 27, 2013. Now with two toddlers, who grow faster and sneakier every day, life can be messy, loud & exhausting. And did I mention we have a sweet golden retriever? This blog began years ago as a way to pass the time during my husband's chemo appointments- my cross-stitch got a little boring ;) I'm so thankful for how God has worked in our lives since then & how this blog continues to change as our family grows. I used to post more DIY and home décor inspiration- then it changed to only baby pics! Now it is a mix of a lot of things, but mostly a place to keep record of my babies, family adventures and my newest endeavor: Everyday Pitter Patter Shop :)
